Women of Praise AWARDS (WOPA)
Women of Praise Awards” (WOPA) was established on the 16th of July 2011, based in the United Kingdom, and aims to reach the four corners of the earth by the grace of God. The vision usually witnesses many joyful people coming together each year with guests who fill the hall with their arrays of beautiful garments, ready to receive or support a loved one with an award.
Woman of Praise Awards, founder Pastor Julie Oyebobola aka Praisetek got her vision from God. WOPA is an award aimed at women who have made a significant impact in the life of someone as Proverbs 34:13 states “Let her works bring her praise”
Wopa nominees are in three different categories namely
The nominator can secretly nominate a loved one to receive an award, the nominee is not told who has nominated them but they find out on the night! What a surprising fun fun-filled night we had as we watched our nominees, shed tears of joy, laughter and appreciation.
Julie Oyebobola is the founder of Women of Praise Women’s Ministry (UK), a ministry that has been of positive influence to many women in their personal, business, and spiritual life. She is also the founder and president of the Women of Praise Awards (UK), a unique opportunity for people to appreciate the women who have made an impact in their lives.
A radical Evangelist in the body of Christ targeting the written offs in society. She has been a blessing in the churches she ministered to.
She is a financial advisor and family protection specialist.
She is a business person who manages gospel artists in the UK, including her beloved husband Praisetek. A Master of Ceremonies and a Stylish event Organiser. She has a passion for children, hence the annual Royal Children’s Party in commemoration of her birthday.
She organised ladies' night out annually She is a marriage coach and counsellor She believes every one marriage should be enjoying and not endured
Julie is a woman of authority and co-Pastors International Christian Celebration Centre(I.C.C.C), the home of celebrities with her husband Pastor Peter Oyebobola. A mentor and mother to many, she is truly a blessed woman.
